Mark was born and raised in Riverton of Icelandic and Ukrainian descent and currently owns ECBVerdyol a manufacturing company in Riverton. He along with his partner Julie started Modern Viking after visiting Iceland and seeing how small beautiful farm airbnb  vacations helped the local economy and showcased the local history and rugged beauty. 

They are proud of the local history and ancestry and want to share that with you while helping the economy of the area.
